BillyTec is run and owned by Billy Thompson, Billy initially trained as a Desktop Support Analyst in 2002 and worked for EDS & Telecom New Zealand for over 12 years. Eight years of his time there was in a supporting role to the executive level employees and Board Members for all of their devices and computer systems. During this period Billy added to this with certificates in Windows 7, 10, Apple Mac OSX, Billy also specialises in Networking Storage.
In 2014 Billy decided to form a company and help small and medium sized New Zealand companies as well as individual contractors who work for themselves. Since setting up BillyTec, Billy has added to his resume skillset, with Microsoft 365 email migration, Gmail systems for mail and device syncing, Cloud and local data storage.
BillyTec works with numerous professionals in the same IT market. Where projects require more than one person, there is opportunity to arrange numerous professionals for a job which might require more people power.
Billy Thompson is a core member of the Connect BNI group in East Tamaki, where networking and inter-business referrals are passed between members to build business together.
